My oppinion is that art is not the same as ordering food or anything of everyday life. Automatization in music is just making less and less artistic. Pure art of djing was Larry Levan, Grandmaster Flash, Ron Hardy etc. You understand perfectly what I mean, no need to agree of course. To me art is something as analogue and non automated as can be, so I consider AI a non artistic expression. I fully understand though that dj'ing and electronic music is in mix with technology and innovation, so of course its gonna go further and further, it just doesnt feel the same to me...

I’ve just received my unit and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I have a question though - is there a way to have visual feedback when the track is near at the end? Like blinking or something similar that starts for example 30 seconds before the end?

My biggest two potential gripes with this unit: 1. Using a single push knob for loop in/out and length is a so much more superior user experience. Traktor has proven this already for decades. Why stick to the retarded Pioneer way when you're releasing something completely new? 2. There's a delicate balance between functionality and ease of use with these devices and this one seems to have too much functionality stuck behind exotic key combo's that you will never remember.

This is a good solution for rich people. But is exactly the problem with technology today. A large DJ deck is designed to be shared by multiple DJs. You are not sharing anything on someone else's phone. Phone's themselves are unreliable and disposable to be a main DJ rig unless you buy a flagship. My phone doesn't have enough storage for my music. This is a good back up solution.

Hi everybody. I'm one of those blind djs who uses this software. I am wondering how This controler would work with Voiceover. Meaning, How would I know what I'm doing with the shift functions if I can't see lights? I'm imagining The Voiceover focus, witch is basically A curser, would jump to the function in the app and read it out? I wish I could get a unit so I could test this stuff out. I would imagine that this company, Algoriddim, has thought of this stuff since they know all about Voiceover. These are just some questions I have in my head. Love your mixes and tutorials luke. You're such a friendly, and helpfull person.

I've been messing with Algoriddim since 2016, I saw a kid do his whole set on an ipad which was dope. Bought the software but left when they went subscription, anyone pushing a subscription model for DJ software is a hard stop. I dont care how good it is, let me buy it outright. I see pioneer going the same way and im never using RB7 and probably going to jump to Denon or stay on old equipment. $50 a year isn't bad. But over 10 years it's way more money than just owning it. Don't forget about incoming price jumps. With DJing moving to streaming they want to phase out owning audio files and I can't get down with that agenda . Losing your entire library when you unsubscribe is just a no no.
